Tomorrow's early morning stroll in jeopardy after wine flight

We had a fun morning w the girls and a great meal out tonight at Spring restaurant with one of Jack's clients who happens to be in town also! We took advantage of the fact that we didn't have to drive and availed ourselves of the wine flight at dinner - check back tomorrow to see how the morning went for us!

So, this morning, we walked over to Parc Monceau that is in the 8th. This is a fantastic park and has a really great playground - we will be back. This is a favorite of well-heeled children and their nannys - we did not blend! The girls made a little friend in the sand box and she was literally wearing a cardigan, poodle skirt and pink patent leather heels. My kids don't even own anything that nice and this is what little Chloe wears to kick it in the park! What on earth does this girl wear to church?

There is also a beautifully restored carousel which the girls happily rode. Then we stopped at the Boulangepicier - a patisserie owned by Alain Ducasse and Eric Kaiser - best pain au chocolate ever! The girls enjoyed their pastries as well - Charlotte even tried to share w Natalie. I found a tell-tale smudge of chocolate on her sleeper - probably not the best choice for her first solid food - although, when in France ...

After we stopped for provisions at the monoprix, we high tailed it home for lunch and nap time (unfortunately, only for Natalie). Jack and I slipped out to grab french sim cards for our phones ( I'm a little too chatty to be paying $2.40 per minute using our iPhones) and we inadvertently found the best deal in Paris ... 9 euros buys you an unlimited data on your smartphone for a month! Gone are the days of holding up a map at a street corner trying to get your bearings - now google maps is in your pocket - pair that with GPS and even I can't get lost. Well, I can't get lost for long ...

That's it for now ...
