Transcript of actual conversation with Jacqui and Charlotte today;
J: Mommy, are we going to Canada?
M: Yes, we are going to go to Canada after we go to Paris.
J: Paris ... I don't want to go to Paris, I want to go to Canada. I want to skip Paris and just go to Canada.
C: Canada, Canada!
M: Paris will be fun. Once we've had lots of fun in Paris, we can go to Canada.
J: Oh, OK ... how long do we have to go to Paris for ... ?
The only saving grace is that I get to remind her of this conversation when she's older and has more sense.

Trip preparations are in full swing
As we prepare for our Parisian adventure, the girls are getting more and more excited. Jack gave them the Patisseries of Paris book and a stack of post-it notes and asked them to go through the book and mark the patisseries they wanted to visit. They marked 52 places. 52 patisseries in 35 days - that's my kind of ratio!
